Google is hiring a Manufacturing Ramp Specialist to lead sourcing and operational execution for critical infrastructure components. You'll manage supplier manufacturing ramps and ensure supply chain partners can meet demand for Google's data centers. This role requires extensive experience in global commodity management and technical program management.
Commodity Managers work with Engineering teams to make sure Google has the supplies and equipment to put into production the innovative products coming from our Engineering teams. As a Commodity Manager, you use your wide industry knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to optimize our total cost of ownership for our global -- and growing -- infrastructure. The scale at which Google operates means that savings on just one piece of hardware can have a huge impact on Google's bottom line.
As a Manufacturing Ramp Specialist at Google, you will lead the sourcing and operational execution for critical infrastructure components. You will be responsible for ensuring that our supply chain partners can scale to meet the unprecedented demand for Google’s data centers. This role is at the intersection of technical engineering and global supply chain, requiring a "systems thinker" who can manage the complexities of power delivery, networking, and silicon integration. In this role, you will not only discuss agreements but also in-depth search into the factory floor to optimize yields and cycle times. You will serve as a technical authority, working closely with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to transition designs into high-volume manufacturing while maintaining the standards of quality and reliability.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
