What you'll do

As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Zscaler, you will lead the design and implementation of machine learning models that enhance the security of our cloud-native Zero Trust Exchange platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cloud architects and software engineers, to integrate machine learning solutions into our existing infrastructure. Your role will involve conducting research to identify new opportunities for machine learning applications in cybersecurity, as well as optimizing existing models for better performance.

You will be responsible for developing data pipelines that ensure the availability and quality of data for model training and evaluation. Your expertise will guide the team in selecting appropriate algorithms and techniques for various use cases, ensuring that our solutions are both effective and efficient. You will also play a key role in establishing best practices for model deployment and monitoring, contributing to the overall reliability of our systems.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will participate in strategic discussions about the future direction of our machine learning initiatives.
