Customer Engineer, AppMod, Google Cloud (Bulgarian, English)

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4 years of experience in cloud native architecture and development methodologies. Your background includes working in a customer-facing or support role, where you've engaged with technical stakeholders and executive leaders. You possess strong communication skills in both Bulgarian and English, enabling you to effectively engage with clients in the local market. Your experience with platform engineering encompasses areas such as Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, image management, and repository management. You are familiar with virtualization deployments, container deployments, application security, and networking, which are crucial for this role.

Desirable

You have experience developing scalable architectures using API management and microservice frameworks, as well as familiarity with PaaS. Proficiency in one or more programming languages is also part of your skill set. You understand the software development lifecycle and have a track record of prospecting and building customer relationships from scratch. Your passion for building Greenfield territories in enterprise accounts sets you apart as a candidate.

What you'll do

In this role, you will facilitate the adoption of Google Cloud products by educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses, helping them become more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You will listen to customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues for customers and liaising with product marketing management and engineering teams to identify opportunities for migration to hybrid-cloud computing models. You will structure and execute prototyping workshops to validate proposed architectures and develop best practices. Additionally, you will document blocking requirements for prioritization with engineering teams. Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events will be required, where you will act as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
