JumpCloud is hiring a Software Quality Engineer to enhance product reliability and security for their cloud-based access platform. You'll leverage Python and pytest to build automated test suites and improve CI/CD processes. This role requires expertise in Agile/Scrum environments.
You have a strong background in software quality engineering, with experience in building automated test suites that ensure product reliability and security. Your expertise in Python and pytest allows you to create robust testing frameworks that integrate seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines. You thrive in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for solving complex challenges, particularly in API and device-level testing. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders makes you a key player in ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of excellence. You understand the importance of continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud-based platforms and security best practices. You may also have a background in working with various operating systems, including Windows, Apple, Linux, and Android, which will help you understand the diverse environments JumpCloud operates in.
