Stripe is seeking a Data Governance Lead to identify and prioritize GTM challenges around customer attributes and data. You'll collaborate with Data Engineering and GTM Systems to manage key data initiatives. This role requires 6+ years of experience in sales governance and data management.
You have over 6 years of experience in data governance, particularly in the context of sales policy development and compliance. Your background includes working with sales governance and sales compensation, giving you a solid understanding of how data impacts business processes. You are familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and have experience with planning tools like Anaplan, which allows you to effectively manage data initiatives. You possess strong analytical skills and can communicate complex data concepts to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at problem-solving, particularly when it comes to data processes and architecture.
Prior experience at a growth stage internet or software company is a plus, as is familiarity with the SaaS and payments industry. You understand the nuances of data quality and its importance in driving sales strategies. Your ability to manage data scrubs through scaled vendors showcases your operational excellence and attention to detail.
In this role, you will identify and prioritize key GTM challenges related to customer attributes and data, ensuring that the sales teams have the insights they need to target prospective customers effectively.
