You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in program management. Your background includes at least 5 years in a leadership role with direct reports, showcasing your ability to guide teams effectively. You are well-versed in the end-to-end software development life cycle, from build to test and release, and you excel in managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders. Your problem-solving and organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to navigate the unique engineering challenges that arise in a fast-paced environment.
You thrive in roles that require both technical expertise and strong leadership. You have experience running programs on high-velocity quality teams, and you understand the importance of data analysis in informing strategic decisions. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to tailor your messaging to different audiences, from executives to technical teams. You are comfortable diving into technical trade-offs in product development while keeping the big picture in focus.
Experience with emerging technologies and community engagement is a plus, as you will be working with YouTube’s incubation team, focusing on building innovative experiences. Familiarity with GenAI Creation and other cutting-edge projects will enhance your contributions to the team.
