Coupang is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to resolve complex technical issues and ensure optimal performance of their cloud platform. You'll work with technologies like Linux, Prometheus, and Grafana. This role requires over 5 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure support.
You have over 5 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform services, demonstrating leadership in major incident response and platform stability improvements. Your diagnostic skills span compute, networking, storage, and application layers, allowing you to tackle complex technical challenges effectively. You possess strong problem-solving abilities in cloud environments, ensuring that you can swiftly address customer escalations and maintain high service levels. Your expertise in Linux system administration, networking, and cloud computing is complemented by your familiarity with visibility tools like Prometheus and Grafana, which you use to monitor and enhance system performance.
As a Cloud Support Engineer at Coupang, you will act as the primary technical contact for customer escalation issues, leading rapid diagnosis and root cause analysis to resolve incidents efficiently. You will manage the entire lifecycle of major incidents, ensuring clear communication and timely updates to both customers and internal stakeholders. Your role will involve building and maintaining runbooks, diagnostic tools, and automation scripts to enhance efficiency and reduce resolution times. Collaborating with product and engineering teams, you will identify systemic issues and drive continuous improvements in stability and customer experience. You will also monitor platform status proactively, addressing performance, capacity, and stability risks before they impact customers.
