You have 7+ years of experience in software development and site reliability engineering, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational rigor and efficiency. You are skilled in crafting strategic directions for SRE teams and have a proven track record of improving engineering velocity. Your expertise includes establishing automated and self-service strategies that enhance operational efficiency and empower development teams.

You possess deep knowledge of observability, monitoring, and metrics practices, and you are passionate about championing these initiatives within your organization. Your experience supervising the development, configuration, and maintenance of platforms for deployed software, including AWS accounts and Kubernetes clusters, sets you apart. You are well-versed in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, ensuring that software development processes are streamlined and effective.

Desirable

Experience with additional monitoring tools and practices is a plus, as is familiarity with cost-effective system design. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering, product, and program management leaders to define standards and practices that drive success.

What you'll do

You will champion observability and monitoring practices, ensuring that the systems you oversee are reliable and efficient. Your role will involve supervising the development, configuration, and maintenance of the underlying platforms for deployed software, including AWS accounts and Kubernetes clusters. You will also oversee the development and maintenance of observability and monitoring tools, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization.

Additionally, you will supervise the development and configuration of software development tools, including CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the SRE teams.
