Senior Software Engineer - Stablecoins

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and maintaining production systems. Your background includes working with blockchain technologies and you understand the complexities involved in handling digital assets securely. You are proficient in Java and have experience with smart contracts, particularly on Ethereum, which allows you to contribute effectively to the Stablecoins team.

Your expertise extends to understanding decentralized finance (DeFi) principles and the regulatory landscape surrounding digital assets. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and thrive on solving complex problems that require innovative solutions. You have a strong grasp of backend services and are familiar with order management and policy enforcement in a financial context.

You are detail-oriented and have a passion for building scalable systems that can handle real-world transactions. Your experience includes working with cross-chain operations and you are eager to contribute to a team that is transforming the finance industry. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Stablecoins team, you will be responsible for building and operating the infrastructure that powers BitGo's Stablecoin-as-a-Service platform. This includes deploying smart contracts and managing on-chain operations such as minting and burning stablecoins. You will work closely with fintech partners to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while enabling them to launch fiat-backed stablecoins.

You will design and implement backend services that support order management and partner integrations, ensuring that our systems are robust and scalable. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the platform's capabilities and improve user experience. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the system, ensuring best practices are followed.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior engineers and help them grow in their roles. You will be part of a team that values innovation and encourages you to bring your ideas to the table. Your contributions will directly impact how BitGo serves its clients and shapes the future of finance.

What we offer

BitGo offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - 220,000 CAD, along with equity and an annual performance bonus.
