Overview

Carvana is seeking a Master Automotive Technician to perform a full range of automotive repairs and diagnostics. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience and offers a competitive wage along with a $5,000 bonus.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience and possess a strong understanding of automotive mechanics. Your expertise spans a full range of repairs, from light maintenance to heavy engine work, and you are comfortable diagnosing and repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles. You are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality repairs on all makes and models, ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for customers.

You are skilled in completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate control systems, including ACs and heater cores. Your ability to work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech environment sets you apart, and you are committed to continuous learning and improvement in your craft. You understand the importance of teamwork and communication in a busy automotive shop, and you thrive in an environment where you can collaborate with others to achieve common goals.

Desirable

You may have certifications such as ASE and are eager to participate in training programs to further enhance your skills. Your experience with various automotive technologies and systems makes you a valuable asset to the team, and you are open to learning new techniques and technologies as the industry evolves.

What you'll do

As a Master Automotive Technician at Carvana, you will perform a wide range of automotive repairs and diagnostics on vehicles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting general to complex repairs, diagnosing issues, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work on various systems, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine components, ensuring that each vehicle is thoroughly inspected and repaired as needed.

You will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing advanced electrical issues, which may involve working with electric and hybrid vehicles. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying problems and implementing effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. You will complete repairs for wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems, contributing to the overall performance and reliability of the vehicles you work on.

In addition to your technical skills, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure that the shop operates efficiently and effectively.
