Stripe is seeking a Head of Payments Performance to lead the Americas team in optimizing payment strategies and user adoption. You have a proven track record in leading teams and driving performance in the payments sector — your experience includes developing strategies that enhance user adoption and optimize payment processes. You thrive in ambiguous situations and can think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to present effectively to senior stakeholders, both internally and externally. You possess strong data processing and analytical skills, allowing you to make informed decisions based on complex data sets. Understanding card network rules and regulations, as well as local payment methods, is second nature to you. You are passionate about improving payment performance and have a keen interest in the evolving payments landscape.
In this role, you will set and execute the strategy for the Americas team, focusing on new user adoption and existing user growth through payment excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that Stripe's users have the best possible experience with our payment solutions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing payment performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to reduce costs and fraud.
