Overview

SpaceX is hiring a Benefits Analyst (Workers Compensation) to assist with the design and administration of benefit programs. You'll support open enrollment and advise employees on benefits-related questions. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of human resources experience.

Who you are

You have a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in human resources, particularly in a generalist or benefits role. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively advise and counsel employees on various benefit-related inquiries. Your understanding of benefit programs, including health and welfare plans, allows you to contribute to the design and implementation of these programs. You stay informed about policies and legislative changes, ensuring compliance with regulations such as ERISA and HIPAA. You are detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with finance, payroll, HRIS, and legal teams to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist with the design, implementation, and administration of benefit programs, including health and welfare benefit plans and the 401(k) plan. You will support the annual benefits open enrollment planning and execution, ensuring that employees are well-informed about their options. Your responsibilities will include developing effective communication strategies to educate a diverse employee population about benefits. You will advise and counsel employees and their dependents on day-to-day benefit-related questions through various channels, including email, phone, and in-person sessions. You will partner with finance, payroll, HRIS, legal, and vendors to manage all aspects of benefit program management, ensuring the accuracy of benefit deductions and streamlining processes for efficient data flow. Additionally, you will assist with provider premium billing statements and resolve any discrepancies that arise. Staying abreast of policies, legislative changes, and legal requirements will be crucial to assist with plan compliance efforts. You may also support company wellness initiatives and other employee services as assigned.
