Overview

NICE is seeking a Senior Specialist Software Engineer to design and implement UI and server components. You'll work with C# and SQL Server in a multi-threaded environment. This role requires 7+ years of experience in software development.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 7 years of experience developing applications in C# using Visual Studio, demonstrating a strong grasp of Windows development tools and SQL Server. You are an excellent problem solver with a keen interest in the latest design and development tools and technologies. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively collaborate with team members through various channels including email, instant messaging, and video conferencing tools. You are fierce in your pursuit of product quality and have a proactive approach to ensuring that your code is secure, scalable, compatible, and maintainable. You have experience creating maintainable code and using source control solutions such as Azure DevOps and Git, and you are familiar with Agile development processes. You are enthusiastic about process improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance the quality of your work.

Desirable

Having cloud knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure will give you an advantage in this role, as it aligns with the company's direction towards cloud-based solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and developer-level testing of UI, server, and interface components. You will utilize C# in multi-threaded, multi-server environments to ensure that your code meets the highest standards of quality. You will perform testing of your work, fix defects, and assist in resolving customer support cases, ensuring that the end product meets customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that the software you develop aligns with the overall product vision and meets the needs of users. Your role will also involve participating in code reviews and unit testing to maintain high-quality standards across the development team. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve your skills and contribute to the team's success.
