You have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure support, particularly in cloud environments, and you understand the importance of operational efficiency and technical excellence. Your background includes a strong focus on incident response and performance monitoring, ensuring that systems run smoothly and efficiently. You are skilled in automation and have experience with tools like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, which you use to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with teams to implement best practices and improve service reliability. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all operations align with modern standards and sustainable practices.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or similar is a plus. Familiarity with incident management frameworks and the ability to create effective runbooks will enhance your contributions to the team. A background in service reliability engineering (SRE) practices will also be beneficial as you work alongside the SRE team to define incident response strategies.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the performance of infrastructure and services, ensuring they meet the key performance indicators set by the business. You will act as the first responder to incidents, executing appropriate responses based on established runbooks or your judgment. Your role will involve defining and documenting incident response procedures in collaboration with the SRE team and client stakeholders. You will also be tasked with automating operations to improve efficiency and reduce human effort in day-to-day tasks. By keeping a vigilant eye on operations, you will help maintain the quality and reliability of the services provided to clients. You will coordinate with support teams across all service functions, setting up communication channels and war rooms for effective incident response.
