Who you are

You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. You understand the importance of maintaining uptime and are committed to ensuring that mission-critical technology infrastructure runs smoothly. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to work alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to problem-solving, always looking for ways to improve processes and systems. You are familiar with the basics of diesel generators and three-phase electrical systems, and you are ready to expand your knowledge in these areas.

What you'll do

As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operations of our data centers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, including standby diesel generators, UPS systems, and cooling systems. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and that any issues are resolved quickly. Your role will involve performing routine maintenance checks and participating in emergency response efforts to minimize downtime. You will also document your work and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational procedures. You will have the opportunity to learn about AWS infrastructure services and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
