Block is seeking a Lead Sales Manager for their Outbound Sales Development team to drive outbound pipeline generation. You'll oversee a team of Business Development Representatives and shape outbound strategy. This role requires strong leadership and execution skills.
You have a proven track record in sales leadership, with experience managing teams focused on outbound sales development. Your ability to create exceptional first interactions and execute high-quality outbound prospecting sets you apart. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven by results, consistently exceeding pipeline targets and delivering strong SQL and conversion performance. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to train and motivate your team effectively. Your strategic mindset allows you to identify funnel gaps and implement changes that enhance meeting quality and downstream pipeline conversion.
Experience in the fintech industry or with integrated ecosystems is a plus. Familiarity with sales enablement tools and CRM systems will help you excel in this role. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your outbound strategy and execution.
As the Manager of Outbound Sales Development, you will own the outbound engine, defining and driving the strategy for pipeline generation. You will oversee a team of Business Development Representatives, ensuring they are equipped to create high-quality outbound interactions. Your role involves reviewing cold calls, emails, and cadences to refine messaging and objection handling. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Ops to ensure that the outbound motion is competitive and consistently producing high-velocity results. You will also be responsible for training your team to position Square’s integrated ecosystem effectively, enhancing their ability to engage prospects.
