You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize AWS technologies. This role requires 7+ years of experience in program management and software development.
You have over 7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams, demonstrating your ability to manage complex projects effectively. With at least 5 years in technical product or program management, you understand the intricacies of leading initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration. Your background includes 3 years of software development experience, which equips you with the technical knowledge necessary to engage with engineers and scientists effectively. You have a proven track record of managing programs across various teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules to ensure timely delivery.
Your experience in technical program management has honed your skills in driving key architectural and system design decisions. You are adept at triaging trade-offs and communicating risks to stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines. You thrive in environments where you can innovate and implement scalable solutions, particularly in the financial sector, where managing liquidity and risk is paramount.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will lead initiatives for Amazon’s Treasury organization, focusing on transforming how liquidity and risk are managed globally. You will partner closely with product managers, program managers, and end users to establish a clear roadmap that aligns with the software engineering manager's objectives. Your role will involve managing the lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining clarity on product timelines.
You will drive key decisions regarding architecture and system design, leveraging your technical expertise to guide discussions and decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will be crucial in triaging trade-offs and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
