What you'll do

As the Senior Manager, Global Lead for Tax Controversy, you will be responsible for leading Agoda's global tax controversy and audit strategy. You will coordinate all phases of tax audits and disputes, ensuring that the company is well-prepared to address any inquiries from tax authorities. Your role will involve building best-practice frameworks that guide the company's approach to tax compliance and controversy management.

You will report directly to the Head of International Tax and work closely with cross-functional teams to support and influence tax policy in key markets. Your expertise will be crucial in developing strategies that mitigate risks associated with tax audits and disputes. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting audit defenses, ensuring that Agoda's interests are well-represented during negotiations with tax authorities.
