Carvana is hiring a Logistics Associate responsible for staging and preparing inventory vehicles for transport. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. You'll work on-site in Auburn, WA.
You are an individual contributor with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age. You possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, which is essential for operating company-owned vehicles safely. You are comfortable using technology, including computers and mobile devices, to assist in your daily tasks. Your attention to detail ensures that you can accurately receive, organize, and stage inventory vehicles on the lot, adhering to processing and safety standards. You are eager to learn and grow in your role, with opportunities to earn certifications that can enhance your skills and increase your pay.
In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to staging and preparing inventory vehicles for inbound and outbound transport. You will use handheld scanning equipment to log vehicle locations and troubleshoot any inventory location issues. Performing multi-point inspections of inventory vehicles is a key responsibility, and you will accurately complete inspection reports to maintain quality standards. You will consistently meet processing and quality standards while maintaining the lot and workspace areas. Additionally, you will safely operate company-owned vehicles and fuel inventory vehicles as needed, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Carvana provides a competitive pay range of $19-$21 per hour, with financial opportunities for growth through certifications. After 12 months in the role, you can earn an additional $.50 per hour by gaining your first certification, and another $.50 per hour after an additional six months with a second certification. There are also opportunities to increase your earnings by learning how to load and unload vehicles. The company offers comprehensive benefits, including company-paid medical insurance, dental and vision insurance at a low cost, a 401K with company match, and 104 hours of PTO in the first year.
