Overview

Microsoft is seeking an Associate Program Manager to join their Cloud Operations & Innovation team. You'll manage energy projects to support datacenter growth and sustainability initiatives across the Nordics. This role requires strong project management skills and a focus on energy supply optimization.

Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in program management, particularly in energy markets or related fields, and possess a strong understanding of the dynamics of datacenter operations. You are skilled in managing relationships with various stakeholders and can effectively communicate project needs. Your ability to develop creative solutions will be crucial in optimizing energy opportunities for Microsoft’s datacenters. You are familiar with sustainability practices and understand the importance of economic value in energy projects. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at managing multiple activities simultaneously.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of activities focused on optimizing energy supply for Microsoft’s datacenters in the Nordics. You will support site selection efforts and advance the datacenter interconnection strategy, ensuring that energy projects align with Microsoft’s sustainability goals. You will develop business cases for new technology applications at the datacenters and communicate project needs to both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include supporting data management requests and managing relationships across various teams to ensure successful project execution.
