Overview

Xometry is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Sales to build and lead a new segment focused on high-value, complex deals with major industrial companies. This role requires strategic vision and hands-on execution to establish sales processes and drive growth.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly in building and leading teams focused on complex, high-value deals. With at least 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership, you understand the intricacies of the sales cycle and have successfully navigated consultative selling in a B2B environment. You are strategic yet hands-on, comfortable rolling up your sleeves to execute early wins while also designing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and empowers your team to achieve ambitious goals.

You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to assess market opportunities and develop effective sales strategies. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives, sets you apart. You thrive in dynamic environments and are adept at adapting strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics. You are passionate about building relationships and understand the importance of customer success in driving long-term growth.

Desirable

Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with digital marketplaces. You may have a background in technology sales or have worked with data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency. A strong network within the industrial sector will be beneficial as you establish the new enterprise segment.

What you'll do

In this foundational role, you will design and implement the overall enterprise sales strategy for Xometry's new segment. You will establish initial pipelines, define territories, and create processes that will scale as the segment grows. Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities with major industrial brands, leveraging Xometry's unique marketplace to connect manufacturers with buyers effectively. You will lead by example, engaging directly with clients to close deals and build lasting relationships.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment on goals and messaging. Your insights will inform product enhancements and marketing strategies, ensuring that Xometry's offerings meet the evolving needs of the market.
