Google is seeking a Software Engineer III for their AI Infrastructure team to develop and validate TPU-based systems. You'll work with C++ and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the future of machine learning infrastructure.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or possess equivalent practical experience. With at least 2 years of experience in software development, you have a strong command of languages such as C++. You are familiar with GPU and TPU architecture and have a solid understanding of machine learning and AI, including the underlying hardware and software stacks. Your excellent problem-solving skills enable you to thrive in a collaborative environment, and you possess the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and technical program managers.
A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields would be advantageous. Experience working on large-scale systems and a background in distributed computing would also be beneficial. You are versatile and display leadership qualities, ready to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will work on critical projects that drive the development of next-generation technologies. Your responsibilities will include developing and validating TPU-based systems for deployment, as well as building and integrating Cloud Compute software to bootstrap AI infrastructure.
