What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security compliance programs that align with Coinbase's mission and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with SOX IT controls and other relevant regulations. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, identifying compliance gaps, and recommending solutions to mitigate risks. You will also be responsible for preparing compliance reports and documentation, ensuring that all processes are well-documented and transparent.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate compliance into the development lifecycle, ensuring that security considerations are embedded in all aspects of the company's operations. You will participate in audits and assessments, working with external auditors to demonstrate compliance and address any findings. Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, adapting the compliance program as necessary to meet evolving requirements.
