You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with experience in ensuring the reliability and performance of large-scale software systems. You understand how cloud platforms operate and have a knack for automating operational tasks to improve efficiency. Your expertise in observability tools allows you to proactively detect issues and enhance system reliability. You are comfortable collaborating with development and technology teams to build scalable applications that meet user needs. You have a solid understanding of incident management processes and are skilled in contributing to them effectively. You thrive in environments where you can pioneer improvements and elevate the resilience of SaaS products across multiple regions.

What you'll do

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Altium, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of the Altium Cloud Platforms. You will pioneer improvements in observability, including logging, monitoring, and application performance management (APM), to ensure system reliability and proactive issue detection. Your role will involve developing and implementing reliability frameworks and patterns that standardize and elevate the resilience of our SaaS products. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance system performance. Additionally, you will participate in incident management, helping to resolve issues quickly and efficiently while minimizing downtime. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of our services and the satisfaction of our users.
