Overview

Amazon is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain mission-critical technology infrastructure. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure 99.999% uptime. This position requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of data center operations.

Desirable

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including stand-by diesel generators, UPSs, PDUs, and cooling systems. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining our extraordinary uptime of 99.999%, ensuring that our global digital experiences remain uninterrupted. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to support all AWS data centers, tackling complex challenges that impact our supply chain and operational efficiency. You will be involved in routine maintenance tasks, as well as emergency response situations, where your quick thinking and technical skills will be put to the test. You will also have the opportunity to participate in projects aimed at improving our infrastructure and processes, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
