Overview

Amazon is hiring a Support Engineer for the Amazon Currency Converter team to solve complex problems in a collaborative environment. You'll work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to support large-scale distributed systems. This role requires experience in troubleshooting and system development.

You have a strong background in system development and enjoy solving complex problems at scale. Your experience with cloud-native applications and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker makes you a valuable asset to our team. You are familiar with automated pipelines for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) and understand the importance of maintaining high availability and performance in mission-critical systems. You are eager to learn and grow within one of the fastest-growing areas of Amazon's e-commerce services platform.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Support Engineer on the Amazon Currency Converter team, you will be responsible for launching, owning, and supporting code that processes millions of transactions daily. You will work closely with a motivated group of engineers to solve challenging problems and improve our systems incrementally. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of our payment processing systems.
