PicsArt is hiring a Senior ML Scientist to develop and deploy generative AI capabilities for millions of creators. You'll work with advanced models and tools like PyTorch and CUDA in Berlin.
You have a Ph.D. or equivalent research experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and over 5 years of experience delivering computer vision and generative AI models in production. Your background includes first-author publications or patents in top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, or ICLR, showcasing your deep expertise in the field. You possess strong technical skills in PyTorch and CUDA, and have hands-on experience with advanced diffusion, transformer, and multimodal text-to-image/video models. You are familiar with high-resolution generation techniques and have a solid understanding of training and inference pipelines, including data parallelism, quantization, and distillation.
As a Senior ML Scientist on the Generative Computer Vision team at PicsArt, you will invent and publish advanced generative AI capabilities that will impact millions of creators globally. Your role involves building innovative features for image and video retouching, effects, quality enhancement, and avatar generation. You will develop and optimize training and evaluation workflows using PyTorch 2.x, DataBricks, and SLURM, ensuring that the models you create are efficient and scalable. You will also create human-in-the-loop evaluations, including side-by-side visual comparisons and technical metrics calculations, to assess the performance of your models. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ship research-driven features at scale. Additionally, you will tune and train custom LLM models for the Picsart AI Assistant, utilizing models like Qwen, LLama, and GLM.
