Join Microsoft’s Copilot Education team in Mountain View, where you’ll lead the charge in shaping the future of AI-powered education technology. As an Education Engineering Manager, you’ll manage and grow high-performing teams in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment, with a strong emphasis on launching impactful products to market. We’re seeking leaders with people management experience, deep technical expertise across frontend and backend systems, and a proven track record in EdTech—especially those who thrive in both startup and large company settings.
You’ll drive the development of innovative, consumer-facing AI features such as study & learn modes and quiz generation, helping to set industry standards and deliver meaningful experiences to learners. Software Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.

Software Engineering M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
