Job Description

We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented individual to support the new Amazon Ireland Store. Do you want to make history?

We are on a mission to transform the customer experience in Ireland and looking for a dynamic, collaborative leader to join our team. This is a ground-breaking opportunity to create and execute a new Retail strategy that will solve pain points for customers and establish the foundations for future growth.

As a Senior Product Manager in the IE Stores team, you will be responsible for specific Retail inputs from strategy through to execution. You will have a data-driven approach, guided by metrics but also able to utilise anecdotes to continuously raise the bar for Irish customers.

You should be a program leader who has the ability to communicate priorities and work effectively with stakeholders, including central, tech and category teams. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity, can work across a wide cross section of stakeholders, and relish the idea of solving challenging problems in a start-up environment.

You will tackle novel situations every day and have the opportunity to work with Amazon teams around the globe.

Key job responsibilities
• Work with the IE Retail lead to deliver the Retail business inputs partnering with stakeholder teams and providing updates to leadership.
• Partner with EU Retail teams to support current project roadmaps and scale knowledge to Ireland.
• Work closely with partner teams to ensure that their plans and roadmaps take Ireland customers and business needs in to account. Collaborate and influence roadmaps of key UK, EU and US teams to achieve our business objectives.• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity at speed
• Ability to think and influence multiple stakeholders both quantitatively and qualitatively
• Ability to self-organize multiple tasks well and to complete them on time with a clear focus on quantitative results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – proven results with key decision makers
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and ability to independently deal with relevant tools (Excel, SQL, other internal tools)
• High degree of proactive “hands-on” thinking and acting
• Ability to work well in a team • Amazon Retail experience (VM, PM, SSCM)
• Ireland experience
• MBA
