Job Description

Amazon has spent years building one of the world’s most efficient and optimized supply chains. The Amazon Warehouse and Distribution (AWD) team will build on that foundation and continue to innovate end-to-end supply chain capabilities.

AWD is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to lead outbound processes for a new business vertical. This is an opportunity to work in a startup like environment within Amazon and we seek an individual who is motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment.

This is an extraordinarily high-impact role requiring innovative thinking - you will have very strong executive support for your mission!

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with existing internal organizations to create and implement the outbound process for AWD to integrate with a new warehouse management system to replenish inventory into the AFN Network
- Create and implement the outbound dock management improvement processes.
- Create and track reports surrounding trailer utilization, departure accuracy, pick accuracy and more.
- Establish key metrics to provide leadership a clear picture on health of AWD outbound while using metrics to identify short- and long-term improvement areas
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Bachelor's degree- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Successful candidates will have experience with Program Management in a broad, global organization, have experience working with a variety of cross-organizational stakeholders, and be able to juggle competing priorities. We are looking for someone who is detail-driven, and has excellent problem solving and deep dive abilities including experience with modelling complex data. Ability to navigate ambiguous programs while keeping a high bar on quality of outputs is a must.
