Overview

Samsara is hiring an Account Executive for their Mid Market team to drive sales of IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of IoT technology.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and managing complex sales processes. Your experience includes building relationships with multiple stakeholders and negotiating pricing effectively. You understand the importance of the Internet of Things (IoT) and how it can transform physical operations for businesses. You are comfortable working remotely and can adapt to different time zones, particularly EST and CST. You are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and support sales efforts.

Desirable

Experience in the IoT industry or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with selling technology solutions to executives and CXOs. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achieving sales targets and driving business growth. You possess strong communication skills and can articulate the value of IoT solutions to potential customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients, conduct product demonstrations, and manage proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase the benefits of our technology. You will work closely with various stakeholders within client organizations, including executives, to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms to close deals effectively. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new customers. Your efforts will contribute to the overall growth of Samsara's business in the mid-market segment.
