You have a strong background in real estate management, ideally with experience in overseeing property portfolios. You understand the intricacies of property valuation and market dynamics, allowing you to make informed decisions that directly impact the company's profitability. As a Portfolio Manager at Opendoor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of up to 300 properties, guiding resale decisions while the company owns these properties. You will set initial list prices by determining the value of acquired properties based on market changes and property conditions after renovations. You will conduct weekly triages to make informed decisions regarding necessary price drops, balancing renovation costs against market demand. Regularly reviewing property values every 30 days will be part of your routine to ensure that pricing strategies remain competitive. You will evaluate buyer offers and make recommendations based on local market signals and previous offers. Your role will significantly influence the company's Profit and Loss, making your contributions vital to Opendoor's success.
