You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications. You possess strong project management skills, enabling you to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Your ability to think strategically allows you to develop creative communications strategies that drive results. You excel in written and verbal communication, building relationships with key stakeholders effectively. Your storytelling and narrative development skills are outstanding, and you maintain well-developed press relationships across business and technology publications.

What you'll do

As a key member of the Google Cloud Communications team, you will promote and defend Google’s technical infrastructure story, which includes community and energy programs. You will develop, write, and edit compelling communications materials, including statements, story pitches, and announcements. Your role will involve being a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to key business partners, managing crisis communications scenarios when necessary. You will think creatively, take smart risks, and address tough issues as they arise, ensuring factual reporting about Google’s global infrastructure.
