What you'll do

As the Senior Engineering Manager for Cloud Engineering at Mozilla, you will lead the Delivery Engineering team in enhancing our internal developer platform. Your primary focus will be on building a modern CI/CD system that leverages tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to streamline our development processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness.

You will set the standard for observability across our services, making it easy for teams to implement best practices and monitor service health effectively. Your role will involve managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs, including implementing FinOps strategies to ensure transparency and accountability in spending. You will also lead efforts to modernize our IAM system, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of our organization.

In this role, you will collaborate with other engineering managers and technical leads to align on strategic initiatives and drive improvements across the organization. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing your team members, helping them grow in their careers while delivering high-quality results.

What we offer

At Mozilla, we offer a competitive salary range for this position, with hiring ranges for Canada Tier 1 locations between $191,000 and $278,000 CAD, and for Tier 2 locations between $173,000 and $251,000 CAD.
