SeatGeek is hiring a Senior Communications Associate to support their PR and communications strategy. You'll engage with media and collaborate across functions to enhance SeatGeek's visibility. This role requires about five years of experience in communications.
You have around five years of experience in communications, ideally within the tech or entertainment sectors — you understand how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Your strong communication skills enable you to engage effectively with media and stakeholders, ensuring that SeatGeek's story is told in a captivating manner. You are metrics-driven, using data to inform your strategies and measure the impact of your communications efforts. In this role, you will support SeatGeek’s PR and communications strategy across both the consumer brand and enterprise partnerships business. You will draft various communications assets, including press releases, talking points, and media briefs, collaborating closely with senior team members to ensure alignment with company goals. Building and maintaining relationships with media across tech, business, and sports/entertainment will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you track opportunities to raise SeatGeek’s profile. You will develop creative, data-driven stories that highlight SeatGeek’s unique insights into live events and fan behavior trends. Additionally, you will oversee the press alias and manage SeatGeek’s issues and rapid-response efforts, ensuring that the team is prepared to address any media inquiries or challenges that arise. Your role will be pivotal in driving visibility around new products, partnerships, and business milestones, making you an operational lynchpin for the team.
