Job Description

Who you are

You have around five years of experience in communications, ideally within the tech or entertainment sectors — you understand how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Your strong communication skills enable you to engage effectively with media and stakeholders, ensuring that SeatGeek's story is told in a captivating manner. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where your ability to manage multiple projects and priorities is essential. You are metrics-driven, using data to inform your strategies and measure the impact of your communications efforts. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, fostering relationships that enhance the effectiveness of your initiatives. You are creative and resourceful, always looking for innovative ways to highlight SeatGeek's unique perspective on live events and fan behavior trends.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support SeatGeek’s PR and communications strategy across both the consumer brand and enterprise partnerships business. You will draft various communications assets, including press releases, talking points, and media briefs, collaborating closely with senior team members to ensure alignment with company goals. Building and maintaining relationships with media across tech, business, and sports/entertainment will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you track opportunities to raise SeatGeek’s profile. You will develop creative, data-driven stories that highlight SeatGeek’s unique insights into live events and fan behavior trends. Additionally, you will oversee the press alias and manage SeatGeek’s issues and rapid-response efforts, ensuring that the team is prepared to address any media inquiries or challenges that arise. Your role will be pivotal in driving visibility around new products, partnerships, and business milestones, making you an operational lynchpin for the team.

What we offer

At SeatGeek, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about transforming the ticketing experience for fans and enterprise partners. We offer a collaborative work environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on our success. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that challenge you and help you grow professionally. We value diversity and inclusion, and we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. Join us in our mission to simplify and modernize the ticketing industry, and help us tell our story to the world.
