SpaceX is hiring a Weld Support Technician for their Texas test site to execute welding requirements and operational needs. This role requires skills in plasma programming, operating saws, and analyzing engineering drawings.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 2 years of experience working with hand tools, band saws, or torches. You possess the ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of cut parts, ensuring precision in your work. You are committed to improving operations and streamlining work processes, demonstrating a proactive approach to your responsibilities. You are willing to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses, operator permits, or certifications required for the role. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with leaders to complete assignments and solve problems efficiently.
As a Weld Support Technician, you will perform a variety of tasks including plasma table programming and operating band and chop saws. You will be responsible for manually drilling and milling materials, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
