Tanium is seeking a Regional Vice President to lead a sales team and drive revenue growth in the Chicago area. You'll develop customer acquisition strategies and oversee enterprise accounts, requiring strong leadership and sales expertise.
You are a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. With at least 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role, you have successfully managed teams and developed strategic sales plans that align with corporate objectives. Your tactical and strategic mindset allows you to navigate complex sales environments and foster strong relationships with enterprise clients.
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively coach and mentor your team of Account Executives. You understand the importance of collaboration and are adept at working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer needs helps you to create actionable strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.
Experience in the technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with channel partnerships and enterprise sales processes. You are comfortable using data to inform your decisions and can adapt your strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback.
As the Regional Vice President of Sales at Tanium, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives to achieve individual and team sales quotas. You will develop and execute a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy aimed at driving annual growth in revenue and bookings within your region. Your role will involve personally overseeing key enterprise accounts, ensuring that your team delivers tailored technology solutions that meet customer needs.
You will collaborate with Tanium's Partner and Channel resources to create strategic sales plans for each named regional account. Regularly conducting forecast meetings with your team, you will coach them on effective sales strategies and ensure they are equipped to close deals successfully. You will maintain awareness of all key regional contractual obligations and facilitate customer meetings to discuss deliverables and expectations.
In addition to driving sales, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and developing your sales team. This includes recruiting, hiring, and training new Account Executives, as well as providing ongoing support to help them succeed in their roles. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture within the sales team, where collaboration and accountability are prioritized.
