Overview

MongoDB is seeking a Public Sector Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and execute sales strategies. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a focus on revenue growth within the assigned territory.

Who you are

You are a driven individual with superb energy and passion for new business acquisition. With a focus on formulating and executing a sales strategy, you thrive in environments that challenge you to identify and close sales opportunities. You have a knack for building strong relationships with CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users, which leads to growth opportunities. You are comfortable collaborating with Solution Architects and Professional Services teams to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize deal sizes. Your proactive approach to identifying and qualifying leads sets you apart in the competitive landscape of enterprise sales.

Desirable

Experience in the public sector or enterprise sales is a plus, as is familiarity with MongoDB's technology and solutions. You are eager to participate in sales enablement trainings and are open to feedback that can help you grow in your role. You understand the importance of a strong sales culture and are committed to contributing to a team that values innovation and success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline within your assigned territory. You will strategically prospect into key decision-makers and build effective relationships that result in revenue growth. You will partner closely with Solution Architects and the Professional Services team to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize deal sizes. Your role will also involve participating in comprehensive sales training programs, including a Sales Bootcamp, to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field. You will be expected to provide feedback on the sales process and contribute to the continuous improvement of MongoDB's sales strategies.
