Box is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for their Threat Protection team to enhance platform security. You'll work with Java, Python, and AWS to develop security features. This role requires strong experience in software engineering and security practices.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on security features and threat protection. Your background includes developing secure applications and understanding the complexities of content management systems. You are proficient in Java and Python, and you have experience working with AWS to deploy and manage applications in the cloud. You understand REST APIs and have a solid grasp of security protocols and best practices. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of software products. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security threats.
Experience with enterprise content management systems is a plus. Familiarity with anomaly detection and security alert systems will help you excel in this role. You are also encouraged to bring any knowledge of machine learning techniques that can enhance threat detection capabilities.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Threat Protection team, you will design and implement security features that empower Box administrators to manage and secure their content effectively. You will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define security requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
