Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of their services in France. You'll be responsible for prospecting and signing new restaurant partners while achieving monthly sales targets. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills.
You have experience in business development or sales, ideally within the foodtech or related sectors. You are a strong communicator who can adapt your sales pitch to different audiences, ensuring that you effectively present Deliveroo's offerings. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with both phone and field prospecting. You are results-driven and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You understand the importance of maintaining relationships with partners after signing and are diligent in following up through CRM systems. You are open to working in a diverse team and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
As a Business Development Manager at Deliveroo, you will play a crucial role in expanding our presence in France. You will be responsible for prospecting new restaurant partners through various channels, including phone calls and in-person meetings. You will generate a high volume of daily calls to build your sales pipeline and will spend at least three days a week in the field to develop your territory. You will present and sell Deliveroo's offerings using our internal sales script while tailoring your approach to each potential partner. You will lead negotiations from start to finish, ensuring that you close sales effectively. You will be expected to meet monthly sales objectives and maintain rigorous follow-up in our CRM system. Additionally, you will support partners after they sign on, ensuring they have a smooth onboarding experience and regularly reporting on progress.
