Who you are

You have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You are a systems thinker who can design clean data models in Looker or similar BI platforms, translating complex funnel metrics into actionable financial insights. Your ability to present data in a clear and trustworthy manner is essential for influencing executive decision-making. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product, to drive strategic initiatives. You possess a deep understanding of customer acquisition metrics and financial modeling, including CAC, cohort analysis, and channel mix. You are detail-oriented and continuously seek to improve forecasting accuracy by incorporating funnel dynamics into your analyses.

Desirable

Experience with advanced financial modeling and reporting tools is a plus. Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and have a knack for building and maintaining Looker models or equivalent semantic layers in other BI tools. Your analytical mindset allows you to derive insights from raw data, supporting the executive leadership with board materials and investor diligence.

What you'll do

As the FP&A Manager at Smartling, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with a strong go-to-market lens.
