Databricks is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive to drive business growth with one of Germany's largest independent software vendors. You'll leverage your enterprise sales experience to build relationships and exceed revenue targets. This role requires a strong track record in complex sales environments.
You have at least 7 years of experience in enterprise sales, particularly within the software industry, where you've consistently exceeded revenue targets. Your background includes working with large independent software vendors (ISVs), allowing you to understand their unique challenges and opportunities. You are skilled at building relationships at the boardroom level and can act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, guiding them in their data and AI strategies. You thrive in complex sales environments and are adept at navigating negotiations to close high-value deals. Your execution-oriented mindset drives you to take initiative and act with urgency, ensuring that you meet and exceed your goals. You are creative in your approach to problem-solving and can identify new business opportunities that align with customer needs.
Experience in the Unified Data Analytics and AI space is a plus, as is familiarity with the Databricks platform. A proven ability to shape data strategies and drive platform adoption will set you apart. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing market dynamics. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
In this role, you will own a flagship enterprise account, developing a clear strategy to exceed revenue and consumption goals. You will execute this strategy with discipline, ensuring that you consistently overachieve your targets. Building boardroom-level relationships will be key, as you will act as a trusted Data & AI advisor to C-level executives. You will uncover and shape new business opportunities, expanding use cases and driving deeper platform adoption. Your role will involve orchestrating the full Databricks ecosystem to maximize customer value, ensuring that clients receive the best possible outcomes from their investments. You will lead negotiations with confidence, using insights to close complex opportunities effectively. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive tangible business outcomes for your clients, contributing to Databricks' growth in Central Europe.
