Dataiku is seeking a Director of Employment Law to provide strategic legal guidance on employment matters across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in European employment law, working in both law firms and multinational companies.
You have at least 8 years of combined experience in employment law, having worked both in a law firm and in-house at a multinational company. Your strong understanding of European employment laws enables you to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional employment issues effectively. You are skilled in providing pragmatic legal counsel on a broad spectrum of employment matters, including employee relations, hiring, terminations, reorganizations, and workplace policies. Your collaborative nature allows you to work alongside cross-functional teams to address complex employment law issues. You are also knowledgeable about compliance with employment laws and regulations in EMEA, including GDPR and collective labor law obligations.
In this role, you will be instrumental in providing strategic legal guidance on a wide array of employment matters in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will advise on compliance with employment laws and regulations, ensuring that the company adheres to legal standards across multiple jurisdictions. You will draft, review, and implement employment policies and procedures, ensuring they align with legal requirements and best practices. Your role will involve collaborating on global projects, working closely with various teams to address complex employment law issues.
