What you'll do

As Vanta's first Procurement Counsel, you will take ownership of all aspects of vendor contract negotiations, ensuring that both Vanta and its customers are protected. You will collaborate closely with the procurement team to develop and implement policies and processes that support the company's growth while maintaining compliance with legal standards. Your role will involve evaluating risk factors that impact business decisions and providing counsel on the business environment and challenges. You will also be responsible for overseeing legal operations, ensuring that all vendor agreements align with Vanta's objectives and compliance requirements. By staying informed about changes in laws and regulations, you will communicate necessary updates to relevant parties, helping to maintain a proactive approach to legal compliance.
