You have extensive experience in business development, particularly within the aviation or transportation sectors — you've successfully led teams and developed strategies that drive growth and enhance partnerships. Your ability to engage with senior leaders in the airport and aviation industries sets you apart, as you understand the nuances of building relationships in this space.

You possess a strategic mindset, capable of defining market priorities and assessing partnership models — your analytical skills allow you to conduct competitive landscape analysis and long-range planning effectively. You are adept at identifying high-value opportunities and have a proven track record of converting leads into successful partnerships.

Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to serve as a senior ambassador for your organization — you can articulate CLEAR's mission and value proposition to diverse stakeholders, including regulatory leaders and airport executives. You thrive in environments where you can influence and educate others about innovative solutions that enhance user experiences.

You are proactive and results-oriented, always looking for ways to anticipate industry trends and mitigate risks — your ability to monitor the aviation ecosystem ensures that you stay ahead of the curve and can drive long-term growth for CLEAR.

Desirable

What you'll do

As the VP of Airport Affairs & Business Development, you will define and lead CLEAR's airport commercial strategy — this includes market prioritization, partnership model assessment, and competitive analysis to expand CLEAR's footprint. You will build and drive a robust airport growth pipeline, identifying high-value opportunities and proactively engaging with senior airport and aviation leaders.

Your role will involve overseeing the full partnership lifecycle, from outreach and relationship development through RFPs and negotiations — you will ensure that operational handoffs are seamless and that partnerships are effectively integrated into CLEAR's offerings. You will elevate CLEAR's presence within the aviation ecosystem, serving as a key point of contact for airport and regulatory leaders.

You will monitor industry trends and anticipate risks, using your insights to inform long-range growth strategies — your ability to adapt to changing market conditions will be crucial in maintaining CLEAR's competitive edge. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to align business development efforts with CLEAR's overall mission and objectives.
