Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Painter to join their team in Framingham, MA. You'll be responsible for professional automotive painting and blending panels. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive painting.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating a high level of skill in various painting techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats. Your expertise extends to blending adjacent panels and correcting paint on vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that meets industry standards. You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is willing to work mandatory overtime to meet business needs. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
Experience with state-of-the-art painting tools and techniques is a plus, as is familiarity with high-tech inspection processes. You may also have a background in automotive repair or restoration, which enhances your understanding of vehicle aesthetics and functionality. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement is essential, as Carvana offers training programs to help you advance your skills and career.
As an Experienced Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, applying various types of paint, and ensuring that the final product meets quality standards. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to achieve the best results. Your role will involve collaborating with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are painted efficiently and to the highest quality. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
In addition to your painting duties, you will participate in ongoing training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive painting. You will have the opportunity to learn about new techniques and technologies that can improve your work and contribute to the overall success of the team. Your ability to adapt to new challenges and embrace change will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
