Who you are

You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — your hands-on experience allows you to troubleshoot complex equipment effectively. You understand the importance of maintaining mission-critical infrastructure and are committed to ensuring operational excellence. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists to keep technology running smoothly. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills are key to your success in this role.

You have a background in maintaining and operating data center facilities — your expertise includes working with diesel generators, UPS systems, and three-phase electrical systems. You are familiar with the components that contribute to a data center's reliability, such as switch gear, PDUs, and cooling systems. Your ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement solutions is essential in maintaining the high uptime standards expected at Amazon.

You are eager to learn and grow within the field of engineering operations — you understand that the technology landscape is constantly evolving, and you are committed to staying updated on the latest advancements. You are a proactive communicator, able to collaborate effectively with team members and share insights that contribute to continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience with AWS infrastructure or similar cloud services is a plus — you understand how data centers support global digital experiences and are excited about the role technology plays in this ecosystem. What you'll do
