Axon is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Justice and Corrections team. You'll leverage your experience in building large-scale cloud services to improve efficiency and accountability in the criminal justice system. This role requires strong system design skills and a customer-obsessed mindset.

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building large-scale cloud services. Your strong system design skills enable you to take a holistic approach to product development, ensuring high standards of fault-tolerance, scalability, and performance. You are customer-obsessed, always seeking to understand the needs of users and how to best serve them through technology. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with other engineers to shape and drive the technical direction of your team. Your passion for justice and accountability drives you to create solutions that have a meaningful impact on society. You are adaptable and eager to learn, constantly seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Desirable

Experience with technologies relevant to the criminal justice system or public sector solutions would be a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and a strong understanding of legal frameworks can enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in the Justice and Corrections team, developing innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and accountability of the criminal justice system.
