What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Optiver Research Platform team, you will expand the platform's capabilities by building new features and improving performance across various core services. You will work on service orchestration, job scheduling, and cluster management to ensure efficient processing of large-scale computational problems.

You will collaborate with global teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your role will involve designing and implementing a fully managed compute and data platform layer that enhances scale and reliability. You will explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies to improve performance and derive better insights from market data.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the platform. Your work will directly impact the speed and efficiency of research workflows, enabling teams to execute experiments and simulations with minimal turnaround time. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
