Job Description

AMZL (Amazon Logistics) is on pace to become one of the largest parcel carriers in the world. This requires a robust process that fully leverages delivery station and driver capacities to accomplish the scale necessary to deliver a world class customer experience.

The ACES Analyst role aims provide ACES in station, on road and the operation with intuitive, aggregated, data driven solutions enabling fast execution of actions derived from accurate data. As this role is within the continuous improvement branch of the company (ACES), an ACES Analyst manages high degrees of ambiguity in terms of process, data and upstream systems to provide clarity, direction and succinct executional decisions for ACES and operations. Insisting of the highest standards, diving deep and inventing and simplifying complex algorithms to an executional level are paramount for this role.

To be successful in this role you will need to have proven analytical skills, able to translate business problems into scalable and tangible process improvements and an influencer capable of working effectively with senior leadership across multiple organizations and geographies. You will also need to be a self-starter, proven program leader, communicator and problem solver. You will work with cross-functional teams on complex logistics problems, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer.- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a Business or Science-based subject (or higher e.g. MBA)
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Relevant experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
- SQL Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Use of data visualisation tools to effectively present data (Amazon Quicksight, Power BI)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated experience and proficiency of hypothesis-led problem solving
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
- Credible and impactful both with Senior Operational and Business Leaders as well as on the shop floor
